Dr. Dipanjan Biswas completed his M.B.B.S from Pt. J. N. M. Medical College Raipur and his MS in General Surgery from the institute of Medical Science at Banaras Hindu Unversity in Varanasi, and an MCh in Surgical Oncology from Tata Memorial Hospital in Mumbai.

Prior to his current position ,he was affilated with MPMMCC in Varanasi,Tata Memorial Hospital in Mumbai and Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital in Sangrur.In addition,he has authored several medical papers that have been published in prestigious national and international journals.
